I got my first German Shepherd at the age of 13 and was hooked in the showing world. Clanrillon Ursa was my first dog and together we did the show circuit in the Bay of Plenty. I got another Shepherd from Clanrillon Kennels after I was married and Clanrillon Ella (Kimba) was a big part of our family teaching my children the love of dogs. I would like to thank Jeanne Allen of Clanrillon kennels for all her help over the years and for the help and surport that continues today. 
Der Ingolsta Xamba started my kennel and has a special place in our hearts.

Keybeau Honky Tonk Won'm is our new girl with exciting lines which we look forward to her bringing us new things in the future thank you Doug and Julz of Keybreau kennels for her and letting her come and live with us and for all there help and support.

Shephaven Kennels is a small kennel  located at Whakatane in the sunny Bay of Plenty New Zealand concentrating on temperament, health, trainability, and beauty with working ability. 
I am a family oriented kennel, committed to enhancing the breed through my limited, planned breedings.

My German Shepherds are raised as our pets, around children and cats, happy, healthy and show wonderful social skills. 
My breeding dogs go thru Vet Checks including hip and elbow x rays which are read and scored by the German Shepherd Dog Council of Australia Hip Dysplasia (HD) and Elbow Dysplasia (ED) Control Schemes.
